Fund Finance Association

Global, European and Asia-Pacific Conferences

Since 2015 Sequence has supported the Fund Finance Association (FFA), designing and producing the organization’s three largest annual conferences in the US, UK and Asia. From venue sourcing and management, to attendee, speaker and sponsor management, as well as full technical production, Sequence oversees all aspects of these events in both planning and execution.

The 2022 Global Symposium was hosted in Miami and brought together over 800 attendees for a 3-day, sold out conference. Over 80 speakers and more than 100 sponsors participated in what was the FFA’s largest conference to date, with full days of programming, dynamic evening events, and keynotes delivered by best-selling author Michael Lewis and Ares co-founder and CEO Michael Arougheti. (Past Symposium keynotes have included Hillary Clinton and Magic Johnson, to name a few). Despite dealing with the continued threat of COVID, Sequence put comprehensive protocols into place to create a COVID-safe environment. All attendees were required to to present proof of vaccination as well as a negative test result within 72 hours of their event check-in. Sequence sourced and managed a digital platform to host all COVID-clearance information, oversaw all necessary on-site testing, and had extensive contingency and communication plans in place for every possible scenario.

The 2022 Symposium was a resounding success, with 98% of attendees indicating it was more valuable than similar industry conferences and 95% responding with an intention to attend next year’s event.

In addition to the in-person conferences, Sequence has also partnered with the FFA to design and produce a 5-day virtual week, as well as initiatives within Diversity and Women in Fund Finance.
