Affirm engaged Sequence for their quarterly employee engagement event. Affirm chose to engage an event agency for the first time, hoping to make this virtual event more dynamic than past internal events, more engaging, and an opportunity for their team to feel like a connected community, despite the physical distance between them.

Sequence was up for the challenge! We began by creating a thematic design that maintained the event’s visual identity throughout each segment and asset. We came up with a super exciting ROS that incorporated home videos submitted by the team. We cut the footage up and shared it during the program open, which the team could discuss and engage with one another during via the live chat feature. Then we ideated amazing workshops and interactive activities to get employees involved and engaged! These included a coffee workshop, meditation/wellness workshop, improv workshop, digital caricaturists, rap workshop, BINGO, and Pictionary. The event included a celebrity cameo by Carlton of Fresh Prince of Bel Air and comedian host Godfrey. There was even a branded photo booth feature that displayed GIFs and photos taken by guests directly to the home screen feed.

The event, video creation, and breakout rooms were a total success! The client and the attendees had nothing but positive feedback for the incredible event. We can’t wait to produce more employee experiences for the incredible team at Affirm.
