About The Position:

  • This is a part-time freelance position with potential to become a full-time role.
  • Assist with all aspects of Creative Production from concept development through execution
  • Work with the Creative & Design departments on overall design strategy and deliverables for Creative execution of various activations and installations
  • Create 3D design mockups of custom scenic fabrications and decor elements
  • Mock up floor plans of event spaces when necessary
  • Partner with the Technical Production department for scenic production requirements
  • Present to & liaise with clients on creative projects or creative aspects of larger projects and help enhance SEQ relationships & reputation
  • Vendor Management
    • Brief vendors on Creative Production elements including scenic, furniture, signage, and decor
    • Communicate with partners to ensure all materials are produced on time, on budget, and to the desired specifications
    • Overseeing Creative & Design budgets, liaising with Event Production Team and ensuring all pricing is accurate across vendors including our inhouse Design team
    • Focus on sustainability, research and working with vendors on sustainable options whenever possible
  • Asset Creation Management
    • Working alongside Creative Production Manager to ensure graphic and video designs as approved by Creative Manager and client are delivered according to specs
    • Manage Project Asset Tracker, an extensive list of all assets being created for an event, by updating statuses, ensuring deadlines met, ensuring files get where they need to go
    • Review final productions for errors ensuring final deliverables reflect client specifications and feedback
    • Deliver design files to all appropriate vendors including video producers, scenic fabricators, and print shops
    • Ensuring all physical print assets arrive at the event site. Managing any issues with local printers / getting reprints
    • Ensuring overall design of every single asset our events are cohesive, delivered on time, and within budget
    • Ensuring any signage / assets being saved or reused get stored and labeled or shipped accordingly

Creative Team Support

  • Collaborating with the team on overall design strategy and execution
  • Contribute to conceptual mood boards & presentations with an eye to style & accuracy
  • Perform research related to creative & design elements, venues, vendors, etc.
  • Opportunity to work with SEQ visual brand look & feel, creative document layouts, SEQ swag, client gifts, etc.
  • Contribute to SEQ office design & décor concepts, as budget and time allow

  • 2-3 years experience in 3D design and and overseeing delivery of creative production elements
  • Proven ability to ensure deliverables adhere to brand guidelines
  • Experience managing a budget preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Suites including Google Slides and Google Sheets preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of
    • Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator
    • 3D Modeling software such as SketchUp
  • Familiarity with additional design, video editing, rendering, and drafting software is a plus
