About the Position:

This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a growing department within a successful and growing agency. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of SEQ marketing activities, take part in creative content development for the agency and support SEQ business development.

Responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans and sales support for the agency: creative ideation, facilitating implementation of marketing and sales initiatives, assisting in content strategy planning and implementation, approval support, tracking and final delivery.

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of all marketing initiatives
  • Oversee and manage Marketing Assistant and Marketing Intern
  • Work with business development and senior management to implement sales and marketing activities such as building presentations, creating & implementing prospecting communication and materials.
  • Serve as main point of contact for sales team requests for case studies, pitch decks and ongoing prospecting needs
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ideate, produce and distribute content that supports marketing and sales strategies
  • Oversight of implementation of website, facilitating updates, management of external website creative and development teams for updates and changes to website
  • Manage, ideate and oversee implementation of all agency social media platforms
  • Manage cross-departmental communication to collaborate with event and production teams to promote SEQ events across social, press, web & all owned media — including managing sizzles / video assets, creating post-event wrap reports, etc.
  • Manage CRM, including Hubspot lists, e-blast development, design, and overseeing execution
  • Assist in the management of photo and video inventory
  • Assist in reporting marketing metrics
  • Coordinate and communicate with other departments to manage marketing needs, opportunities and assigned tasks such as: updating brand material updates to ensure brand consistency, assists with writing award submissions & oversees submission management, sourcing and management of office materials/swag, etc.
  • Work with senior management on PR activities, including but not limited to press release writing & distribution, editorial calendars, industry events, etc.
  • Co-management of all creative resources including designers, writers, and other agency personnel.
  • Attend SEQ events regularly in support of SEQ event promotions

About You:

  • Organized, motivated and proactive to manage the needs of the department in support of the agency for growth
  • Ability to, and comfortable with, regular interaction and duties assigned by and with senior management
  • Experienced in managing a small team. ensuring departmental objectives are met
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to communicate such thoughts efficiently and effectively
  • Driven, motivated and comfortable with being a leader
  • Strong & confident communication skills – both written and oral
  • Creative and tactical problem-solver and a self-starter
  • Comfortable working in a team environment, both taking and giving direction
  • Ability to successfully multi-task, and take full ownership of assigned projects
  • Positive can-do attitude, with no task too big or too small
  • Bring a detail-oriented eye and the highest standard to all of your work
  • Incredibly resourceful, aware of industry trends
  • 7-10 years of marketing experience (agency and /or events experience a plus)
