ABOUT THE POSITION:

This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a growing department within a successful and growing agency. You will be taking the lead in day-to-day management of SEQ marketing activities, executing marketing strategy and assisting in developing the annual marketing plan along with some design projects and administrative tasks.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years of marketing experience (event agency experience a plus)
  • Advanced proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office products (ie: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)
  • Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite (ie: Photoshop, Acrobat Pro DC)
  • Previous experience with Keynote
  • Experience managing/training/mentoring interns a plus, but not necessary

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans for the agency: creative ideation, content generation, understanding strategy, facilitating visual design, logistics support, approval support, tracking and final delivery.
  • Support the team in day-to-day management of owned and operated properties
  • Assist in the generation, development and management of content that supports marketing strategies, ensuring consistency in brand and messaging in all deliverables, including but not limited to:
    • Management of bi-weekly email blasts – annual planning, coordinating with content developers, writing content, facilitation of implementation of design and distribution, etc.
    • Creative ideation, writing and planning blog content
    • Content management and implementation of social media strategy via all relevant platforms, including but not limited too – advance content planning, writing posts, facilitating approval of content, tracking analytics, attending events to document, understanding technically how to work within all social platforms, etc.
    • Assist in the development and building of case studies
    • Other content as needed and determined
  • Support the management of the website, facilitating updates, content management, metrics, etc.
  • Assist in the management of photo and video inventory
  • Coordinate and communicate with other departments to manage and marketing needs, opportunities and assigned tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of marketing experience (event agency experience a plus)
  • Advanced proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office products (ie: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)
  • Design experience with Adobe Creative Suite (ie: Photoshop, Acrobat Pro DC) or Canva
  • Experience with Keynote a plus
  • Experience managing/training/mentoring interns a plus, but not necessary
