About You:
- You are local to NYC/tri-state area (transportation and lodging are not provided for these roles)
- You have 1-2 years event / project management experience as a freelancer, at an agency or on the client side
- You have a can-do attitude with no task too big or small.
- You are creative, tactical, a problem-solver and a self-starter.
- You have a keen eye for detail, accuracy in organizing large data, and love spreadsheets!
- You are punctual, reliable, and flexible.
- You present professionally with poise and clear communication, especially when client-facing.
- You know how to have fun, but you work hard.

- Work alongside our Creative Team (Chief Creative Officer, Creative Coordinator, etc.) on internally- and externally-facing creative projects of all types
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously at various stages
- Bring a detail-oriented eye and the highest standard to all of your work

- Hone clear & succinct visual communications skills to demonstrate in all presentations
- Areas of Focus
- Graphics and collateral design support & working with graphic designers
- Developing skills related to designing and utilizing physical space, installation, rigging & ability to transform a space to suit the event strategy, brand & clients’ goals
- Understanding the role of brand guidelines and how to organically brand an event based on creative direction
- Supporting the Sequence discovery process and how we assess and address client’s event goals & KPIs through creative solutions
- Assisting in the development of creative event concepts with a client’s strategic goals in mind
- Research & attention to industry trends such as events, fashion, art, design, technology and more
- Proposals & Brainstorming
- Scheduling team meetings & brainstorms
- Take & distribute notes, as needed
- Support in creating & circulating creative briefs for teams participating in group brainstorms and to relevant vendors
- Assist with the creative proposal process for potential clients: content gathering & development, research, implementation of custom design template, deck assembly and ensuring delivery by deadline
- Event Concepting
- Assisting in creating conceptual mood boards & deck presentations with an eye to style & accuracy
- Perform research related to creative & design elements, venues, vendors, etc.
- Utilize SEQ resources (or research) for mock-ups, renderings & other visual communications to client
- Utilize SEQ resources (or research) for creative installations & fabrication, rentals & other décor
- Event Design: Projects, Process & Procedure
- Support the Creative team on creative projects or creative aspects of larger projects to ensure those aspects are fully owned from inception through to fruition
- Ongoing vendor communications on assigned elements, maintaining order requests and trackers, ordering rentals and supplies, tracking shipments
- Ongoing maintenance of asset trackers, feedback trackers, coordinating deliverables between designers and Creative team and overall design timelines
- Update & document SEQ’s creative processes in guides & templates whenever relevant
- Assist in building creative sections of project timeline in Monday
- Recording time accurately via monday.com for all projects and job functions
- Support in the event design budgetary process, including vendor payments & EPSs
- Organizing, packing and unpacking of event supplies in-office and on-site
- Other
- Liaise with SEQ Marketing re: creative event coverage support, asset management & award submission opportunities
- Work with SEQ visual brand look & feel, creative document layouts, SEQ swag, client gifts, etc.
- Contribute to SEQ office design & décor concepts, as budget and time allow
- Helpful Skills
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator – preferred but not required
- G-suite: Slides and Sheets a must
- Eye for aesthetics – moodboarding
- 1-2 years experience in event production, brand identity and / or experiential activations
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced industry
- A creative and strategic brain for what is unique and could wow an audience
- Storytelling skills with the ability to think conceptually on a vision or set of KPI’s
- A team spirit with an ability to collaborate
