About You:
- 1-2 years experience in events assistant role (brand and creative proficiency a plus!)
- Positive can-do attitude, with no task too big or too small
- Creative, proactive, tactical, a problem-solver and a self-starter
- Detail/solution oriented, extremely organized
- Strong communication skills – both written and oral
- Comfortable working in a team environment, both taking and giving direction
- Hard working, and recognize this business does not have set hours
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Keynote is plus
- Excellent computer (Mac preferred) and internet research skills
- Ability to successfully multi-task, and take full ownership of assigned projects
- Exhibit professionalism and willingness to be a team player
- General understanding, interest, and excitement for the event industry, trends, and working with brands.
- Overseeing elements on-site at events
- Assist in sourcing and managing venues and vendors
- Coordinate timelines, schedules and logistics
- Help maintain budgets, event documents, briefings, and spreadsheets
- Liaise with clients and help enhance relationships
- Assist in coordinating proposals for prospective clients
- Assist in coordinating mood boards and creative decks for clients
- Want to go the extra mile, in organization, thinking ahead, and attention to detail
- Participate in creative brainstorms to generate ideas for clients
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
