5 Favorites from BizBash Live NYC 2018

A few excited members of the Sequence team took a quick field trip to the Javitz Center to check out BizBash Live NYC 2018. We spent a few hours wandering around the different booths, tasting way too many free samples and learning about some of the latest and greatest trends that NYC has to offer. It was tough to narrow down, but we managed to agree on our top 5 favorites.

  1. Be Time

Our absolute favorite thing we discovered at BizBash was Be Time, the NYC Mobile Meditation and Relaxation Studio. When we stepped into the bus, we went from the bustling BizBash atmosphere, to a small space filled with aromatherapy, weighted blankets and chromotherapy. What we loved most about Be Time was their ability to fit their services to any space and time constraints. Be Time offers a variety of guided meditation lengths and practices. If you are working in a busy city like NYC, where a bus might be a little hard to park outside, they can create the same vibe and guided meditation practice in any space you provide. We liked this activation so much because of how dynamic and versatile it can be. It would be perfect for a corporate function, office bonding, music festival etc. The relaxation possibilities are endless!

  1. Art of Everyone

Art of Everyone is an interactive, laser-guided, painting experience. The activation includes an artist and a fabric or glass canvas. The artist uses a laser pointer to guide attendees through the painting process, so the final product is done completely by the attendees. The activations is a great way to get guests working together to create a final, tangible piece of art that can be kept by the group to show off their hard work.

  1. Virtual Reality by Coco Events

We had a blast testing out these virtual reality pods! Coco provides 30+ different virtual reality experiences, along with the pod itself, where guests can buckle in and feel as though they are actually walking through a haunted house or riding a roller coaster. This would be a great activation for events with a young crowd and more tech savvy events.

4. MirMir

Many photo booths these days seem to promote the latest and greatest overlays, graphics and trendy technology, but MirMir took a step back into simplicity. The “OG Photo Booth Experience” takes crisp black and white photos that truly capture the excitement and natural beauty of guests. Their photo booth attendants help pose and position guests to capture their best angles and lighting. The photos themselves come out with a high-end look, while still giving attendees the authenticity of the photo booth experience.

  1. Brand Activation Services

Brand Activation Services provides an extensive number of branding options, but the one that stood out to us most was their hand-drawn murals used as photo backdrops. For BizBash Live, BAS created a graffiti style butterfly wing mural. The mural included the event name, hashtag and intricate designs on the wings that created an extremely unique photo op to stand out on our feed.
